><p>"So that's it then." The director stood, followed by the producer, and shook first Freddie's, then Carly's hand. "Production on the iCarly movie will begin next month!"<p>

Carly saw the man to the door and turned back to Freddie. She was exhausted; ever since the idea of an iCarly movie came to be, it had been nonstop running from Seattle to Hollywood, from Carly's apartment to their lawyer's office. She was nineteen years old, and, frankly, she wasn't so sure that feeling like this was worth it.

"So." Freddie threw his arm around her shoulders and led her to the couch. "iCarly's come a long way, huh?"

"Yeah." Carly gave him a half smile, the best she could do. This was big, humongous. iCarly had grown from a little webshow shot in an apartment loft to a full blown Hollywood movie, a documentary about how the show came to be. A documentary of, essentially, their lives.

And one important person was missing it.

"Are you going to try to get in touch with her?" Freddie slid forward on the couch to be able to see Carly better. "Let her know what's going on?"

Carly scowled and looked at her hands. She shook her head. "No," she said. "No. Sam gave up her rights when she left."

iCarly was growing. Freddie was growing. _Carly _was growing.

And Sam had chosen to miss it. All of it.

"She doesn't care anymore."
